I'm so glad to have the opportunity to share with others a little bit of my time with Mark. He came to see me for many years for acupuncture treatment to hold back the advance of the Parkinsons that he had been diagnosed with. He was so good at looking for everything he could do to help his health and he managed to slow down the development of the illness for a long time. What I will always remember is how much he didn't want to be a problem for his family and he told me about his symptoms but never showed any of his anguish. i'm certain that he felt that at times but he didn't want to trouble others. He also managed to find joy, even as the symptoms became more challenging. Perhaps the most obvious characteristic was how much he loved all his family and wanted everything to be alright for them. I'm very grateful for the timeI I had with Mark and for the huge contribution he made to the world during his lifetime. Cherith
